Some quick things to notice about politics in the current era:

1. things are polarizing more and more, middle class and centrist views evaporating.
2. Lines on maps are being redrawn like the late empires of the early twntieth century.
3. Western media is completely co opted against it's people, a recursive analysis suggest it always was.
4. Globalization completed, resisting it is not the way forward,look for it brightsides, it has many.
5. Rises of overt fascism is an immune response to from a dying society. It's a death croak, and speaks volumes about its devuot followers.
6. Enchanted regimes seem to hold an edge ofsome sort.
7.Otherwise smart individuals are easily swayed through clever pyscological games.
8. john Nash writ large, everythings gamified, inverted to the point where losers think they are winning.
9. Those who pay close attention to poltiics, but don't play the poltical game, are the real losers.
